June

So, here is my try to catch up so you get lots and lots of pictures. June was full of Softball and T-Ball. Everyday we had games except for Friday and most of the time we started our day off with T-Ball and ended our evenings with Softball. Kaitlyn and Spencer were in T-Ball but played on different days in the mornings. Makenzie and Hannah were in Softball and mostly played in the afternoon and evenings. I felt like we lived at the park, many picnic lunches and dinners at the park.
Hannah was pitching machine this year and she was a little scared of it at first. She was afraid the ball would hit her, one of her first practices that she had she got hit with the ball and realized it hurt but she survived. After that she did really good and she really enjoyed it. Her team was made up of all 2nd graders and the league goes from 2nd to 4th. They were the underdogs this year. They were pretty good for their team but its hard to compete against those with 3rd and 4th graders. They only won one game and it was in the Championship games.
Kaitlyn loved playing this year, last year she could of cared less, but I think because she has seen her older sisters play so much she is starting to enjoy it. She has had fun with it.
Spencer really wanted to play this year so I signed him up put him on a fun team told him all about it. He was pretty excited until he played his first game and found out it doesn't move as fast as his sisters games do and decided he didn't want to play anymore. It was a fight to get him to play usually I would have to sit in the dug out with him or help him get to the right spot in the field. I think the last game he played I actually got to sit and watch him play.
Here his coach is standing next to him.
Makenzie played in the older league this year and thought it was just ok. Last year was pitching machine this year was girls pitch. She did really good last year with the pitching machine so that was hard for her to have a girl throw it to her and most of them you cant hit because they are to short or too far out. She struggled with that she wanted a good pitch so she could hit. She was also the youngest on her team and that was hard for her. We will see if she decides to continue it next year.
We had on the Calendar for over a year a family reunion planned for Bear Lake and we were so excited to go and as luck would have it our family got sick the week before we were to go. It started with Kaitlyn and moved to Makenzie and Hannah and then onto Spencer. Spencer got the worst of it he could not keep anything down. Every time I gave him a sip of anything it would just come back up. We went through all of this with Kaitlyn before so I was really watching him and he held his own for a day and after that he didn't turn around like the girls did so I took him in and sure enough they sent us over to get an IV and fluids in him. They left his IV in over night in case he had to have more fluids and sure enough the next morning when I took him in they sent us over to get another bag of fluids. I asked the doctor if it was still ok to continue with our weekend plans to Bear Lake and he said he didn't see why we couldn't go. The nurse also told me that I may end up going to the hospital there if he didn't turn around.
He did not want his picture taken. We decided to chance it and went. The ride getting there was rough, for most of the weekend he was laying down or asleep but by Sunday he was great. I am glad we went it was a lot of fun. Bear Lake was an extended family reunion, my Dad's side of the family. We stayed at house on the beach.
We played a lot of games. This one you had to get everyone through the spiders web without touching it and no two people could go through the same hole.
Makenzie and Bailey for one of the games.
This one you had to keep connecting the pieces together with out letting the golf ball drop. They started up at the house and had to go all the way to the beach.
We also played some minute to win it games. The Oreo cookies.

Sticking straws into a potato and then balancing M&M's on the straws.
This last one is of my dad and his brothers with shaving cream on their faces. Then they had the daughters throw marshmallows at their face. Who ever had the most marshmallows stuck won. My uncle on the right caught one in his ear it was awesome.

We also played on the beach and thanks to my cousin Jathan who brought his boat we were able to get some tube rides and boat rides.

On our way back home we stopped in Soda Springs for a picnic and this view.
