Forts and the zoo

Hannah's kindergarten class got to go to the zoo yesterday and I was lucky enough to join her (thanks Josh). She was so excited to go with (just) me and her class. We pretty much had the zoo to ourselves. She got to ride the bus.

It was not the best day to go to the Zoo because we got rained on and because of the weather some of the animals were not out. We did see the monkeys, the penguins, she got to feed the ducks, and see some flamingo's and peacocks. The bears came out for a few minutes to wrestle with each other and then they went back in their house. The camel was pretty ugly right now he is shedding his coat. The lion did not want to come out for us, and the the tiger was taking a cat nap. The best part were the monkeys swinging around and yelling at each other. After the zoo we went to the park and the kids got to play for about ten minutes before we loaded up and headed back to the school. I think Hannah had a lot of fun with her class and it was great for me to have some one on one with her. She is such a sweet little girl.



THE FORT
The other day it was still a little cold and the kids were bored so what does every mom do when they here "I'm bored", we build forts what else. They usually make their forts downstairs but this day we decided to make it in the living room and go over the kitchen table. They each had their own room and their own doors.
